First conversations were with Daniel from realiseyourpotential.com , and we started to discuss our general views on leadership and business as well as the ways in which lockdown and Covid would inevitably change outlooks, values and styles. We decided that we would explore what had just happened in the world, how it had affected each of us as individuals and communities (whether that be business, local , national or global), and how we should adapt to those new outlooks and new lives – both now and in the future. 3 Wednesdays for Change, also needed 3 hosts, and Daniel introduced me to Vanessa Jane Smith from craftingconnection.com – a visual conversationalist – and it soon became very obvious that Vanessa would bring another dimension to any conversation with her unique approach to exploring the words in a conversation and create the space to interpret thoughts and ideas. The kick off to Wednesdays for Change (drawing by Vanessa Jane Smith) The trilogy of coaches and conversation created many more topics to explore and so we will now continue Wednesdays for Change on a weekly basis, exploring what we as individuals and leaders can do to create and adapt to the change around us – to make sure we are an integral part of that conversation, as we grow a community that can impact the way individuals and organisations think about leadership in a changed and hopefully more connected world. I am looking forward to welcoming as many as possible to these inspiring, thought provoking spaces that will change the way you think about both yourself and others. Join us every Wednesday at midday – right in the middle of the week – through Central Circle.
